How do stroboscopes work and where are they used?
Stroboscopes allow rotating or reciprocating machinery to be inspected during operation, with no break in production required. They do this by creating a series of short, fast flashes, causing the component to appear frozen to the eye.
These instruments are commonly used on components such as couplings, gear wheels, belt drives, machine tool spindles and fan blades, across all industries.
