Joe Longmore successfully completes SKF’s entire series of Distributor College courses

Acorn Rotherham employee Joe Longmore is delighted to be the first person to have successfully completed more than 30 SKF Distributor College courses in a record six days!

Joe, aged 24, started his career in bearings & power transmission straight from school, but only recently started work at Acorn Industrial Services Ltd.  Acorn are keen to ensure all their employees are trained to a high standard and as part of his training, Joe was asked to begin the courses on SKF's Distributor College. Keeping up to date with the latest product information, technology and techniques adds value for Acorn customers.

SKF provides a wide range of training specifically developed for distributors. Their excellent courses include topics from bearing basics to specific bearing types, with additional courses continually added. All are designed with the objective of making critical product use information available to customers, so that they can improve equipment performance.

When asked about his training, Joe commented: “I thoroughly enjoyed SKF’s Distributor College; it has widened my knowledge of SKF products and solutions. Thanks to SKF, I feel more confident in helping customers and dealing with their enquires and needs”
