Acorn's 'Tools for the Trade' SKF Workshop Initiative

Acorn’s fourth ‘ Tools for the Trade’ initiative saw Bearing Companies from around the country assemble at the SKF factory in Luton for a day of training, product awareness and a factory tour. 

Acorn is dedicated to supporting our trade customers, by providing information, product knowledge & product awareness, we aim to help customers compete more effectively and ultimately, win more business. 

The day kicked off with a meet and greet from the Acorn team, followed by a talk from SKF’s Phil Nicholas on SKF Linear LLT Rails and the all new SKF Explorer 2 series. Customers then saw first-hand how SKF - the world’s No.1 solutions provider and bearing manufacturer – operates, with a tour around the SKF factory. An insight into SKF’s PT range and SKF seals followed, along with a discussion on the extremely important subject of counterfeit bearings. The day ended with a questions & answers session and a look around the SKF solutions factory.
