Acorn secure UK distributorship with NSK and RHP Bearings

Acorn Industrial Services, one of the UK’s leading distributors of bearings, power transmission components and linear systems, has announced that it has secured a UK distributorship for the NSK and RHP Bearings brands, as part of its growth and expansion plans.

NSK, which is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of ball and roller bearings, was looking for a well established partner that had the experience, systems and structure in place to introduce NSK into the distributor market place.

We were able to demonstrate to NSK that we had the capabilities to provide an authorised, traceable route for their products to enter the main distribution channels.  As NSK is the world’s leading ball bearing manufacturer, we believe the brand has huge potential in the UK - and it is our plan to significantly increase their market share here.”

The deal will see Acorn Industrial Services providing the full range of NSK and RHP products and services including Self Lube, Precision and Inch type bearings.  Acorn will also be launching a new range of RHP spherical bearings to the market.

By buying NSK or RHP products through Acorn Industrial Services, customers can be assured that they will receive genuine product.  Customers can also buy online, with 20,000 NSK and RHP lines available directly from the Acorn Express online portal.

As part of the company’s dedication to excellent service, customers will now receive the product either the same day or within 24 hours.  Technical support on NSK and RHP products will be available via Acorn’s own bearing experts, as well as via NSK.

Acorn holds the most extensive stockholding in the country, with over one million items in stock, stored on eight miles of shelving. The company has recently invested in purpose built 40,000 sq ft premises in South Yorkshire that are twice the size of its previous site and house its £4m worth of stock, plus its head office functions.
