What are the benefits of using a bearings with a fixed inner ring and a sliding outer ring?
Having a fixed inner ring and sliding outer ring, enables these bearings to run directly on the outer housing without an outer raceway, in applications designs where space is limited.
These bearings are able to carry a high radial load at mid-speed, but are not able to take any axial load in either direction.
