Linear Actuators incorporate a slide guide and a precision ball screw within a housing that can often be simply supported. Installation and set up is greatly eased when compared to a traditional system involving mounting surface considerations, ball screw end bearing set up and installation, and set up of the associated guidance rails. The ease of installation and elimination of mounting surface requirements can lead to substantial materials cost reduction, along with greatly reduced manufacturing times. The use of Linear Actuators also makes for straightforward x-y, or x-y-z, positioning systems.

Model GL is a single-axis actuator that allows a ball screw drive or a belt drive to be integrated with an aluminium base on which the LM Guide model GSR is mounted.

NB linear actuators
The very competitively priced NB range of BG actuators offers compact dimensions and outperforms conventional positioning tables. There are four ball circuits in four point ball contact which contributes to the high rigidity achieved.
NB actuators are available in sizes 20 to 55, in either High or Precision grades. Precision grade offers a positioning repeatability of +/- 3µm with a backlash of 3µm.
NB also offer a wide choice of optional motor mount brackets to suit most popular motors.
NB actuators are often available from stock, or with short lead times.
